Celebrating it's 50th anniversary, Roxy Music's UK #1 album from 1973, Stranded - featuring the hits Street Life and Mother Of Pearl - will be re-released on 13 October 2023 on limited edition transparent red vinyl.
It was the first Roxy Music album on which Bryan Ferry was not the sole songwriter as multi-instrumentalist, Andy Mackay, and guitarist, Phil Manzanera, also contributed to the album. Though it was also the first album without Brian Eno, who had left the group after For Your Pleasure, Eno nonetheless later rated it as Roxy Music’s finest record.
